My first pet was a cat so therefore the first pet portrait I ever painted was a cat. That cat then had kittens and I ran out of drawing materials.

A cat portrait is a lovely way of paying homage to your feline friend. I love painting cats as each one has its own unique idiosyncrasies and it's wonderful trying to catch them in a pet portrait.
